Dan completed a BSc in Real Estate Appraisal and Management and an MSc in Construction Project Management, graduating in 2011 and 2013 respectively. After a further two years completing the Assessment of Professional Competence, he qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 2016, becoming a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and subsequently an RICS Registered Valuer. Dan previously worked in an established independent firm of Chartered Surveyors & Estate Agents, Brinsons for 13 years before joining the Estates Team at Cardiff University as an Asset Manager. With over 15 years of experience Dan joined Harris & Birt in October 2024 to further establish the commercial department covering all aspects of agency, management and professional work.
