David Birt

David comes from a property background with his father, uncle and brother, all Chartered Surveyors. David started his property career as an articled pupil within highly respected Chartered Surveyors, Lucas & Madley based in Cardiff, and he became a partner with 8 offices across South Wales. Prudential Property Services bought Lucas & Madley in the late 1980’s and David joined the regional board with nearly 200 offices across Wales and the South West. However, he quickly realised the corporate estate agency was not the way to go, so resigned, and started up his own business in 1991 as David Birt & Co in Cowbridge and is now delighted to merge with a well-respected partnership sharing the same values based on professionalism and client service, rather than corporate number crunching.
