Growth of professional services department

Our professional services team has expanded over the last year with the recruitment of two new team members to support the Rural and Commercial focused consultancy.

Robert David, who is a Rural Land Management graduate of The Royal Agricultural University joins the team, having previously gained experience with a rural practice in Abergavenny. Robert will focus on rural land consultancy, whilst working towards his APC and professional qualification as a Chartered Surveyor. Robert is from a local farming family and is currently chairman of Maendy Young Farmers Club.

Rachel Williams also joins the team as Commercial Administrator. Having previously worked in Australia, Spain and Dubai, Rachel has returned to her homeland of Wales and is currently studying for an AAT Foundation Certificate in Accounting, whilst supporting the commercial team and providing client accounting support to the commercial property management services offered by the department.

Since opening the office, originally as Brinsons Fairfax in 2009, we have grown significantly and established ourselves as a recognised Estate Agency and firm of Chartered Surveyors, with a broad client base. These appointments will further strengthen our offering as a multidisciplinary firm of professional advisors. Both Robert and Rachel have had a positive impact since joining the firm and I look forward to seeing them develop further”.

The Rural and Commercial team was bolstered in 2019 with the acquisition of Bute Surveyors, who specialise in property consultancy to the medical market and land compensation work. Jayne Street joined the team from Bute Surveyors and brings with her a wealth of property consultancy experience and is focused on land compensation claims. The above appointments further enhances this team of professional advisers.
